Program Controller -Glow Driver |
| Introducing a New product idea. The “PC” or Program Controller will double the performance of an on board
Glow Driver that has an adjustable glow plug “on” set point such as McDaniel’s and many others. This very small microprocessor controller that is
1 1/2” x 1 1/2“ x 3/4” and weighs 7/10 of an ounce and is compatible with both 4.8 and 6 volt radio systems. The PC has two servo type cables which
plug into the receiver. The PC has two plug in headers that accept the plugs from both the on board glow driver and the throttle servo. |

| The PC unit has a single one touch button for simple programming. With the PC
installed between your receiver, glow driver, and throttle servo you now have total control of the glow plug drivers performance. Operating an auxiliary
transmitter switch you can now override the glow drivers automatic control. The throttle position now has "NO" control of the glow driver and has been
converted to manual operation and is "ON". At anytime during the flight you may covert the glow driver from automatic to manual and back as many
times as you want. The PC may also be installed using another function in place of the auxiliary switch such as the flaps. When the flaps are lowered, the
glow plugs come "ON" and the glow driver automatic function is over ridden. The manual operation of the glow driver will stay in place until the flaps are
returned to the original flight position, then the automatic glow driver operation by the throttle will be returned to you. We have given two examples of
operation, however, with the programmable transmitters available today we are sure many modelers will find even more options. |
